This
is my old trailer, stay tuned for a picture of my NEW TRAILER!!
The
trailer is a '68 Winnebago that probably has made it's last ROAD TRIP!
You
will notice there are some other dudes there. They are from left to right,
Jesse, Bruce, and Mark. Collectively, Mark, Bruce and myself came up with the
moniker of "The 3 Kings" for ourselves when we were all staying in
the Winnebago. When Jesse came down, we became "The Three Kings (and a
Jack). Mark and Bruce are better fisherman, but I can drink more.
I
do have the biggest fish of all of them, thank you!!
(this is not it!!)
The trailers are located in scenic
Hideaway Harbor, which is "way up in Little Caney", as the locals
like to say. If you were to imagine Lake Fork as an actual fork, Little Caney
would be the middle tine, and it would actually be somewhat shorter than the
other two outside ones.
I would like to take this
opportunity to wish the proprietor of Hideaway Harbor well. Wanda and Daemon
have moved on, and has the “Big C” as she calls it (cancer), but she is going
to battle it to the end. I have met the new owners, we are “tight”!! I already
helped him get his tractor stuck trying to move a dirt pile on my lot. That is
almost as hard to do as fucking up a crowbar!!
GOOD LUCK WANDA!!
This is my
attempt at my own post card of Lake Fork. Funny how most of my pictures come
out like post cards...
This is taken not far from the aforementioned Hideaway Harbor.
I
found a link to some Boat
Ramp Stories!!.
I
love Boat Ramp stories, we used to get a six-pack and just sit there on the
boat ramp of Lake Lewisville and just watch!! These aren't actually as funny as
I thought they would be!
